Do you make anything???

I make tutus for Mackenzie.... and recently I tampered with making fairy wings.... I made Mackenzie's entire Halloween costume this year from head to toe. Here's a pic:

how adorable!!!!! I (L) it.. I have no creativity.. I'd really like to get into scrapbooking and card making..

well this is the ONLY thing I can do..... I have made a tradition that Mackenzie gets her picture taken in a different tutu outfit every year for her birthday! I purchased the first tutu.... but taught myself how to make them from that.... now I've actually sold several of them! which is pretty cool!

uhm let's see... I make collages (I'll take a pic), I do paintings, lamps out of bottles (), christmas reefs, ornaments, and various other nick nacks.

OOOH I love lamps out of bottles!!! I need one for my mom made out of a wine bottle.... she is a wine freak!!! we must chat about this over sushi!

That's what I make mine out of! The brand Candoni makes beautiful painted bottles (that's how I found out how to do it...it had the instructions on the label. )

I knit. I've knitted jelly fish, finished a rose last night (for V-day), christmas stocking, scarfs, book marks, a half-way done purse, a half-decent bikini top, a never-completed sweater.

No I don't make anything other than food.

Here's some of the stuff I've made:
two of my collages. I just use cut outs from magazines, photos, and random things like an earring that doesn't have a match.

First painting is water pastels and the second is watercolor.

We did this right before the deployment started

and the wine bottle lamp

I caught them off guard and liked it so much I made it into a poster. (It's my favorite photo)

and of course I have to make music.

I've made several scarves, a throw blanket, a half finished throw blanket, a baby blanket, a purse (by far my favorite project and I want to make more purses when I get the time, a couple of infant "cocoons" for photography props... I think that's all so far.

The blanket is absolutely adorable but I am in LOVE with that purse. I wish I could knit.

Wow Jess I love that purse. My house is over running with afghans that my grandma has made me. We get one every year for Christmas so...lets see I am 20 and I probably have at least 20 afghans. I love them though especially since my grandma made them.

I'll post pics once the rose is complete. I'm too lazy to dig it up now.

Yeah that just means we gotta down a bottle of wine, buy a lampshade, and the kit from Lowe's to make it. It only takes like an hour to put it together once you have the supplies.

AWESOME! I think a burgandy colored bottle would be ideal, or tans/browns.... something like that. I'll keep an eye out and you do too!

I kind of dabble in lots of things. I knit, make hairbows and tutus for Rosemary, quilt, but that's all I am doing for now. I'll have to find pictures. Most of my stuff I give as gifts, so I don't have pics though.
