I'm back from our vacation!

Well, Jon and I are back from Wisconsin. It was about 30 degree colder, the gas prices were .30 cents higher, and I got ripped off by a double-allergy season!

Overall, the family was great. We spent the days at my dad's house and the nights at his parents. Then we rotated a couple of the days so my sister could see Wesson after school. It went by pretty fast. I wish I would have had more time with my dad and sister. It was pretty bittersweet.

I helped out alot though. Overall at my dad's, we got rid of my old car, fixed the fence, put the air conditioners in, taught him how to take pics off of his blackberry, fixed his surround sound, and did some other housework. He showed off Wesson everywhere we went. It felt bad though. Although I miss the family, I was still reminded not to return. By him directly, by the grocery costs, by the rude people I saw, by the rush-hour traffic. I got a little emotional and cried after we got in the car but after falling asleep, I felt a little better. It's hard. You never know when you'll see your family again. Dad's health isn't the best either, so...I don't know.

Anywho...without further trailing off... I took a bunch of pictures that I'll have to post later on!

I'm glad that you guys got to go home!! I'm sorry that it went by quickly, it always does. Can't wait to see your peektures.

If it makes you feel better everytime we leave home my family bawls...so does Johns mom and Oma lol. We try to leave ASAP so that I don't cry! I'm gla you had a good time and u always get depressed after leaving home.

Ya. My dad was ok. Jon's family bawled.

I did alright until I thought about it. I closed the door, wiped a tear, and waited until we hit the highway.

I'm glad I'm not the only crazy one.

That's usually when the water works start for me too. As soon as we hit the highway, or sometimes I hold out til we cross the state line. It really starts to sink in because your too far to turn back.

Or does she stay to take care of your dad?
WHEN we move down there, we are still going to have to drive up at least twice a year to pick up/take home Brads kids.
