I know, rent is insane down here for what you can pay to buy, just nuts.

I was getting ahead of myself and checking out houses in Norfolk, oh the places we can go there. With two BAH's, we can afford a little more room to spread out, I'm so excited.

I love Virginia Beach... I went there for spring break a long time ago with my dad. We hung out in a pool on the 7th floor or something at a hotel watching the planes do their exercises and stuff flying overhead. I loved seeing all the ships... AH it was so cool.

How's the pup doing since his surgery?

The pup is doing too good for his own good. He's still on mandatory rest and yet he thinks he feels great, so he wants to run and play and go, but I can't let him. So he's miserable in his kennel all day. Hopefully they will let him off his complete rest when I go in on the 13th.

I love seeing the ships too there, it's so cool to me. I might think different after I spend a few months on one. LMAO

Awww he's still on rest?! Poor guy!!! He's going to go nuts when he can run around the yard. So much energy kept up in that kennel! lol

Jon liked ships... We were going to go on a cruise for our honeymoon... And then...he spent 7 months on a MEU. He refuses to go anywhere near a ship now. LMAO

Yes, he's supposed to be on complete rest for 6-8 weeks, it will be 6 weeks-ish on the 13th, so I hope he's healed enough to move. He still shouldn't run and jump and play, but hopefully he'll be able to move!

We went on a cruise for our honeymoon, you should go, it's nothing like the Navy, promise, lol. He won't have to clean anything and will have lots and lots and lots of great food, sitting by the pool and you can get off nearly everyday!

I wanted a nice exotic island cruise. Spend some time on an island, spend some time on ship...

Poor guy...I thought it's been longer than 6-8 weeks. lol

We left from Miami, went to Puerto Rico (if you, or anyone else reading this, go there, don't go on the Bacardi factory tour, it's worthless), St. Maarten (we did this awesome tree top, zip line thing), St. Thomas (snorkeling, amazing place, I want to go back and spend a whole week on this island), the Bahamas (snorkeling again, not as good, colder, not as many fish, wouldn't recommend that one) and then back to Miami. Our flight out wasn't until the next day and we had time to kill before we could check into our hotel, so we did an everglades tour there and that was pretty cool.

I loved every minute of it and I really want to go on another one soon.

And that cruise sounds really nice. I heard St Maarten and St. Thomas are gorgeous!

Yes, they both are and I loved the cruise. I liked St. Thomas more than St. Maarten, I don't know why specifically though, but I didn't want to get back on the ship at the end of the day. I told Chris that I wanted to just miss the ship and stay there and never go back, we could hide out. lol
