So...I never really "liked" cottage cheese...but you motivated to try it again and...

They make combos of cottage cheese and peaches or strawberries! Peaches are yummyyyyy. I can't eat too much of it though....makes me kinda nauseous...but it's a great filler-upper.

I've also been eating alot of almonds for snacks... I'm totally going psycho on this body-changing thing.

Jons going to be so proud of you. I love cottage cheese but don't like the combos because either the cottage cheese doesn't taste good to me or the fruit they use taste gross lol I have to use light small curd cottage cheese and only del monte peaches in a can.

I like the combos because I need that sugar. lol

I should try the peaches in a can...the chunk pieces would probably taste even BETTER than the marmalade they use in the combos. Drool

I also bought low fat 2% in a big tub. Aside from Messikan, I've eaten almonds and cottage cheese all weekend. ROFL (still haven't lost a damn pound). I'm having chicken tonight. Drool

Jon better be proud of me. Dammit.

LMAO How funny because...

Jon told me to eat the packets of Starkist tuna to make sure I get enough Omega-3. lol

He told me to take his creatine but the lady at GNC was like..."NOOOOOO. Men are different! You'll soak up water like a sponge!!!" Freakout

LMAO Yeah that wouldn't have been good.

Yeah you can get fish capsules with added Omega-3. Thats what John takes and is TRYING to get me to take...but I can just imagine burping up nasty fish oil later in the day.

Ya I can't take fish-oil. Puke

Grosso-mosso. Just eat lots of TUNA!!! That has TASTE. lol

Jon just takes Protein (a delicious cookies and cream shake that I steal sometimes), Creatine, and some other pill. He mostly just modifies his diet... (but ruins it with beer. lol)

John takes like 123841298374 vitamins. A multi, fish oil, msm (I think is the letters) powder, some other stuff...and then he takes protein too.

His grandparents are health nuts so they send him all kinds of vitamins and stuff...I tell him that I don't need all that extra stuff lol

Jon was heftybeerdrinkingextremelylovehandledroundfacedbutilovedhimanywayfat before he joined, so he's all nutty about his appearance now. Rolling Eyes

I loved him with a little more meat on his bones because it kept me more snuggly warm at night but...that's ok. He's my eye candy now. lol

No one in our family(s) are health nuts so they give the side eye when they hear about Jon taking his supplements.

lol At least it's cheaper that way. GNC is fricken EXPENSIVE. Even with the goldcard discount. Jon always "thanks me" when we go at the first of the month so he can get his stash because I'm like..."Hundreds of dollars on fricken vitamins and protein!?!?!?!" "But, sweetie, it's better quality protein..." Ok... lol

I'm good the way I was born too. If I crave something, that means that Jeannette needs it. lol Although, because of my crappy diet and working out, I AM taking my prenatals (as a vitamin). lol

I take my vitamins as and when I feel like it. Which reminds me, I'm doing the 30-day shred too, except not in 30 consecutive days. My goal is to do it at least once a week, which I've accomplished so far. I just want to be more active, and not keel over from asthma while doing so. Regardless of what the doctor & nurse told me, no, I am not losing weight. With my body image issues, I've got to be suicidal if I'm attempting to lose weight. I will weigh in when I finally remember to use the weighing scale in the gym (been planning to do so the past two weeks). I found another reason for loving the 30-day shred... if I do it late at night when I'm getting sleepy and I've to stay up to finish homework, it wakes me up. Yay to eradicating my caffeine dependency! Official 30-Day Shred Weigh-In Thread! - Page 9 95619

yay Grace!

I've been doing Level 1 for a while now. Level 2 killed me with my asthma. I also skip instead of jump rope because that bugs the breathing too. Overall, I'm loving it.

Except...I haven't lost a damn pound. mumble

I feel good...but dammit...I want to be closer to 150...not 2-fricken-hundred. Official 30-Day Shred Weigh-In Thread! - Page 9 680868

I always have to stop mid-level 1 to take a puff of my inhaler. Of course the doctor said I could take one puff before I start working out, but I'm always stubborn & hope that I can get through level one without needing my inhaler. So far not yet. I haven't attempted level 2, just cause if I have to stop during level 1... that means level 2 would just consist of the girls on screen getting a work out and me taking a break every 3 seconds. I can jump rope, the jumping jacks get to me by the 2nd cycle Official 30-Day Shred Weigh-In Thread! - Page 9 213115 .
Well, it takes a while to lose weight, plus you may be gaining muscle weight and losing fat weight & it's balancing each other out. I would love to be 150 pounds of pure muscle. I take that back, I would love to be able to run 2 miles daily. That'd never happen unless I get lung transplants. Official 30-Day Shred Weigh-In Thread! - Page 9 94699

My knees hurt today. sadeyes

BUT...I'm almost expert on Level 1. Woot

I talked to my body-building coworker as to why I crave junk food NOW that I'm exercising and dieting....

He says it's because our body is used to burning THAT as energy where now, since I'm not eating it, my body is confused. lol Or something along those lines. lol

Dammit I want peanut m&ms
